+ 1 we need pics :rolleyes:

Did you use the Summit in the 'trade'?
It's been undervalued here - fantastic piece of kit I'd never call a toy - I understand the inference, but with remote locking diffs, that's no toy!

Another question;
When the 5T arrives, assuming all goes well, will your wife notice if you put the 23cc in 'her Baja' and the 26cc in your 5T?
Just an idea !! :devil2::devil2::devil2:

Yes I used the Summit in trade, the fact of the matter I haven't used the Summit in close to a year so it was time to see it go. I just hope I don't wish later on that I shouldnt have gotten rid of it.

I did that to her already once, we were going to race my OBR 7.5hp Rampage against her ESP 29cc baja and when she was gone one day I took the 29cc motor out and put in the spare 23cc motor lol. She didnt notice it till after we raced and the baja didnt have the pep it did.

I think I lost the plot a little.
I love the smaller rigs, and have a couple 1/8-1/10 and smaller ones.

You're obviously well into the large scale scene, and that the missus is as well is just a lot more fun!
The 5T has been a favourite of mine for a while. Never owned one personally, but I prefer it's looks to the Baja.

You can even go for one of the wide bodyshells and say it's a 5SC !!

Well, the 5T will be here tomorrow. First thing I am going to do is take it apart and look it over and inspect it for warn parts. And check fluids. Then I am going to put a 28.5cc in it, the pipe is up in the air right now, I know it will hinder performance but I will just go with a stock can for right now.
I want something that can make it wheelie and have some speed to it and not cost $200+ for a pipe.

Haven't really ran it yet, I have made couple laps around the yard but thats about it. I tore it apart and put it back together and forgot to route the kill switch wires lol, so I got to take it all apart again. I am going to add a deans connector to the wire and make it quick disconnect.

Looking good. Yep many of the pipes for the 5t makes them a pain to work on. I run these quick release roll cage tubes that make taking the roll cage much easier. You do not have to move the shocks or shock mount. Can remove the front part of the roll cage with out even removing the back part.

On my 5b I take the body off 5 body clips, take the front two body clips out of the roll cage and the front of my roll cage comes off.
