I took the time to read the whole thread I wrote half of it,I also read ur post as I replied to it.a thread about high speed desipline and high reving pipes,we talking about a pipe for a fg ,a jetpro, then u cum on saying ther crap then I reply and you say there not all the same, since u read it properly u saw we was talking. About a specific pipe for high speed stuff.so why would he wan't a torque low end pipe, has nothing to do with thread and you didn't give him any advice regarding his application u just saw us talking about a jetpro. N thought ud use the. Oppurtunity to say they are crap.and if all jetpros are different, when we talkin about the fg. One, y say the 5t can is better? Also u say u read it Properly so u read we talking about a high end pipe for high speeds n revs then cum on saying u wouldn't touch one as they are a high end pipe.sounds like u didn't read anythin, just saw a convo about a jpro and jumped on it because u don't like it.irrelevant to the thread!
Sorry, i must have forget you must be mister no it all,and i know exactly what you were talking about in the post mister no it all, your the one that must need some help with your reading and understanding things in english...

he uses the heli heads because they have better plating i think i read somewhere, this maybe why its still going strong with no signs of dulling or problems with the plating using these heli heads you need to mount the coil onto the fan cover as theres no mounting points on the head
yes i know they use an external ignition system, you should get your red race ignition on it, and also i think ian uses a cy bottom end because they have better porting( or something, NOT 100% SURE) its great that the cylinder is still in great condition, i suppose thats one of the perks of buying from a top engine builder, power and revs are great, but reliability is also very important, especially with the prices of some of these ported engines.have you considered the oddified ecu? I would imagine the heli engine, external ignition and ecu would be lunatic! Ive heard they work better on stock motors but it would be a brilliant set up with what you already have, nice one. have you any more videos of your buggy?

wow did I start this. anyway I am looking for a topend pipe not low end. I run my FG Baja on a 1/4 mile oval track and I am looking for better performance than what I am getting now with my top end DDM pipe thats installed on a 30.5 ESP fully port and polished Zenoah motor. It looks like a jetpro its the way to go but if the Victory non Pro pipe is a better pipe, then can any one give me proof on a Dyno chart. I have all Winter to decide what to get. Thanks Again 4 your input guys
they are saying they got 5.2hp with a stock 26cc, but thats peak hp,from looking at different dyno charts, most readings only peak for a few hundred rpm,the long rod with pro pipe reaches 7.5hp,but when you look at it,its only above 6hp for around a thousand rpm's!,but it goeslike stink .i think videos tell the whole story!
m going to order the victory for the hormann,at the moment it has the stock hormann pipe which is good because it has very smooth power delivery.

have tried it with the mk1 ecu with the oddie and never realy noticed any real difference but was well impresed when on my stock 26cc so i sold that on a while back,

i have today though ordered the tps redrace ignition kit it was on special price 135 euro's along with the tps hpi wheel adapters and tps desperado style wheels mounted with there own bow tie spec tyres also on discount @70 euros and a new ring just to pep the old girl up,plus some of there hex tools thats my xmas pressies from the mrs and daughter sorted,,,

sweet even more power and even more grip,,better tyre choice no more silly fg squares rounding off or tyres ripping off cant wait to get out after xmas when its all fitted i cant imagine my car reving even harder and having any more power :)

sorry, mr spiceboy .where do we go from talking rc to talking spelling, grammer and puntuation? obviously youre mr know it all.Well i learned half the stuff i know by people on this forum that know what they talking about(not people that talk sense to the conversation!, )
.Alzo, abowt my ENGALISH, I CARNT SEEE WHATZ UPP WIV EYT,YA MUGUMhe TAgAWT MEE WELL DES AWZ,U D KNOW! PREPPIE.m
anyway enough joking about, this is stupid, instead of all this crap thats come from a pipe thread, maybe we could use the time to learn something, well in my case ,im here for a natter with people with the same interests and to learn something! i can see this getting nowhere, but this was a thread about a top end pipe and i stick to what i said regarding the high speed racing.
like i said,im not here to argue and go around in circles,id rather just get on,as this is getting a bit pathetic, from both sides.its alot harder to say this as it would be so easy to curse, but we should leave that to the kids, this is the time when i get away from all the hustle and bustle etc(if that is the right saying )AND MY ENGLISH IS FINE,I COULD GIVE BORAT A RUN FOR HIS MONEY .
anyway i will apologise if i have offended you,and hopefully we can leave the school yard stuff in the playground! but if you have something constructive to say or anything i can learn from you that would be alot better.peace!

I have just one question to ask. I have a FG 2 wheel drive Baja with a fully modified port and polished 30.5 ESP motor and running a DDM pipe at the moment. The DDM top end pipe is good but I am looking for something better. I am considering ordering a VRC pipe but they don't make the PRO pipe for the FG, But is the regular non Pro VRC pipe any good for my 30.5 ESP? So my next option would be a Jetpro pipe unsilenced. Now my question to you guys out there is. Which pipe is a better pipe VRC non pro, Jetpro or stick with my DDM topend pipe? Now if they had made the Victory Pro pipe for the FG I would not be putting up this post . Let me know guys if one of you out there did any real world testing on these 3 Pipes on a FG vehicle and which one would be the best for my 30.5 ESP fully modified port and polished motor.
seems there are 3 victorys,
victory, vic bigbore, vic pro.the pro as you know was devoled with OBR 27fm,and the bb is sold by ddm, which was made with trevor simpson and esp engines in mind

Thanks for the link. I can't find it anywhere closer. If I can't find one does anybody know how to get one to fit on the fg? I'm desperate here fellas!! I got a 27.2 fm lr on the way.
u cant find one closer! but where are yoiu from.well i have a 27.2 lr fullmod,in a hormann, they didnt do a pro pipe for it so i emailed david at victory about 100 times, lol ,then he mademe a PIPE he said it was better then the pro! it gives great power from bottom to top, but its not a big bore, not the pro or the vrc for stock engines.
regarding earlier comments regarding high speed passes, oval racing, i did a 69mph run im my marder with a stock 29 and a jetpro topend! will do vid on sunday.
get emailing mate,i did every rc company i could find in the u s and europe, after 2 months it paid off.
you need the right pipe to get the best out of the engine.

heres a vid of the victory pipe in hormann ,obr 27.2 longrod.the 20/44 gears do it no justice, need to go taller, i have just installed 22/42, around another 6/7 mph ontop, i very much doubt the bottom end will be affected too..quality is crap, filmed on mates phone

I'm in Brooklyn NY at the moment. That's cool that you got one made for your car I didn't know that was possible. I will get emailing and see if I can get a pipe as well. What email address or website did you contact him with? Was getting one made a lot more expensive then off the shelf?

hi again, well i sent him around 12 emails before i got it, so you have to be persuasive without being too pushy! lol. if you do get through to him, you want to consider a pipe that has better lowend then a pro and better high then the big bore, its a great medium, plenty of power through the rev range.

pm sent mate;)

come on spill the beans then how much don't be shy
hows the tps race ignition getting on?

I had to take on a 2nd paper round to get it, i remember it used to be £7 a week when i was 13, now you could be looking twice that!!!!
iyyyt.

its like adding a turbo without the lag im even toying with the idea of a new engine i want more
A new engine................? YOU'RE RUNNING AN ODDIFIED HELI !!!!!!!!!!!
get the toxic twin bottom end and put two oddi red heads on it!!!!!(just kidding) what engine are you after, and don't say you don't know yet lol!
I know if youre thinking of a new block, you would already have your favourites in ya head.

lets just say ive been in touch with oddie for prices and possible specs to run with the red race ,,,after running the 23cc heli for the past 2 years theres no other choice

that just shows, no matter how much power you have, you will want more lol.I just read what youre after, with that displacement it should be crazy!! do you have two fg beetles or has it just changed over time?
hope you like reading novels!:w00t:

i live by clarksons law power power power then add more power and your close,,,2 beetles i wish,,,no it gets a face lift every now and then its due a change soon new shell new colour more wheels and more power
