cool idea. if it were a lil cheaper in price i would give it a go just to see how it performs. i agree tho, prolly not much good for offroading/bashing, but for hardpack, or asphalt street running, prolly a beast.
cant really tell on bell if shafts longer, but layshaft definately made differently, has more sets of holes, it looks like. maybe longer too. should still work with the tr backplate with molded in hanger bearing carrier, and tr one piece upper brake mount. they show a enclosed bell cover too, it may work with the metal 3 point arm style carrier also.
overall, if price wasnt quite so high at 200 bucks i would rock and roll with it just out of curiousity, to see how much more it would get ya. maybe a lil more top end with the 3rd gear setup it has.
