poop hot engine but useless in a 5th scale, constant wheelies and destroyed tires ect... waste of time and money..............
someone needs to design awhole new scale to suit these new overpowered engines so you can get the full potential from these enginesl

18hp in a 5th scale come on thats just plain stupid:lol:

just my opinion

you are right about that, but there is something alluring about it. i had a pro mx 50 and it sucked in the baja. power band was so not suited for it and this engine(judging by the vid ive seen) looks to be about the same scenario.

i really want about a 40cc. i heard that rcmax was going to do something like that but it was going to be something like a 47cc, which again, i really think is to big. 40cc on the nose i think would be perfect for a heavy baja. imo

Dude I will be honest, I seen the videos of a tester with this motor, I would seriously question there Horsepower rating....

18 hp? Yeah ok, not from what I seen.

its a joke 18hp way to much power even for clarkson just no need in a 1/5 scale nice but 6-7hp is to much for me and way to much for a marder based car but shove it in a nice fat heavy 1/4scale sand rail and your talking fun
