that should work fine mate, with all those bits and bobs it should be quite wide but i just bash and don't do crazy 6ft jumps so my hubs are fine. i did find that the 2cm wider help with steering and stability a bit.

if i use fg rear baja wheels on front it measures 46.5 cm wide and fg monster slicks or my xt wheels for off road 52cm wide at the rear, would be shite for racing io guess but sure make the fg alot more stable on cornering, albeit a wider turning circle.

fg baja ,large wheel squares front with fg baja wides and fg monster slicks rear with medium squares

as a comparison if i just put normal offset fg marder wheels on my hormann its 50cm wide at front(with small squares) and 52cm at the rear with small squares so wider then the fg with bits added and mad offset wheels for extra width

Well it's all set up and running fine it was on there wen I got it so I don't know any diffrence it holds it tune ant had too play wiv the setting since I got it

Cool :cool2: Most people who have tried them have had problems with tuning and performance being a bit hit & miss. Good to hear they set up nicely on yours tho.

forget boost bottles mate, what ren has coming is worth an extra 2 hp, at least ....i cant believe im hooking him up, he will wipe the floor with my fg when we meet up!!
sorry ive just handicapped me and you mate..lol

My fg baja looks like a stock piece of 5hyte as you can see from the pictures , my excuse is im not into all the blingy hop ups and weight inducing shiny pretty bits ..most money spent has been on performance upgrades, and it goes pretty well and holds up with chosen upgrades.
regarding boost bottles,if i seen someone using them and they made a noticable difference,id use them myself. ive only ever seen 1 car with them at my lhs, they were tuning the engine for the cars owner and had to take the bottles off to start and tune it properly,id like to see a before and after with the bb added.

wicked i cant wait like i need a extra 2hp lol you the man:w00t:

no mate hypers sending me a suprise lol and ive no idea what it is mate knowing him its a borat mankini and dwarfy thought it was boost bottles

your probaly the only person to have boost bottles still fitted mate as most think there a waste of time and find tuning once fitted a knightmare and end up selling them on ebay even i have to put my hands up as once having them and then getting shot of them soon after

Lol I've heard lots of stuff about them but mines running okay wiv it... Wot about the vacuum ones do they work?? Or is it all a gimmick like the supercharges for nitros

ive also had one of them made by malossi that was ok and i had no problems with that one but it still ended up on ebay was cool though when i had it on the bug its like it breaths in and out but there just a pain in the arse to find a good mounting position out of harms way

im running oddified engines in both cars now so there just not needed

my 23cc oddie is now using a 668 only cause its got a choke but i have got a wt771 to go back on and thats a great carb and ive had over 2 years use from that one

and the new 29cc oddie has the new wt990 and so far im very happy with that one but its still early days and time will tell but so far id say its the best carb out,and even ian oddie said its one of the best carbs out when i brought my engine so if its good enough for him im sure it will be ok for my use

its just getting to grips with starting the buggers without a choke but 3-4 pulls with the throttle open the a couple of pulls with it closed and its away

if your after more power and response i would highly recomend the tps red race ignition kit thats a great bit of kit that works well and claims to add @15% more power across the whole rev range

it replaces your stock flywheel and coil for a external mounted coil and a billet flywheel its a higher voltage coil and gives a much better spark and less rotational mass which is like a turbo without the lag and revs up much faster

i had a good deal from ian oddie as i spent a shite load of cash all at once as i brought the ecu a clutch 2 ecu leads 1 for each car and the engine plus other bits so it wasnt as much as buying the engine on its own i also brought the engine without coil and flywheel ect as it was getting the red race kit fitted so didnt need them,,,but the engine on its own complete with carb clutch ect is @£470 with the +1mm stroker crank which makes it a 29.5cc but if your best asking ian @oddified.com great bloke and very helpfull and if its power your after hes your man

we not taking the piss buddy, it first started on a video thread of my fg baja, its still on here from a few weeks ago, basically it was wheelying at top speed and these guys was asking what engine or pipe was on it and dwarthy said it maight have boost bottles or something, ren doesn't know yet what im sending him but will find out start of next week, we just fooling around..
like i said if i knew someone that had boost bottles and seen they made more power id fit them myself but don't personally know anyone that has them .
I see you already have a jetpro tuned pipe ( i have the unsilenced version ), a great pipe with plenty of power and revs ,what size engine do you have?
regarding carbs, i use a 990 carb.and a a 603 and 668 , which give good performance and easy to tune. ive heard the oddi ecu and/or tps race ignition works great on stock engines.

you should try your fg without the boost bottles and see how it goes..

sorry mate we have taken over a bit just tell us to piss off mate lol

those jet pro style pipes are great for power but are a pain in the arse once its landed on its arse end a few times they end up dented and bent but there a great power pipe i myself had one but soon changed it for the vrc pipe which is not cheap but built well and as a 2 peice design is easy to remove and work around there is a couple of fg samba's just been listed on ebay 1 is @£60+p+p so if you wanted one of them id have that over the jetpro style you posted and there a very good pipe again a 2 peice pipe so no worries about it damaging the head which can happen with the jp pipes

Out of the two i'd got Samba as well, jet pros are usually top end pipes..
