MGM / T.P. Power motor combo ploblem

Having a problem with this combo. After install, truck would only go 1/3 throttle before shutting down. So I tryed to replicate problem on bench.

Any Ideas?

Do you have the esc programmed properly?

I got new parameter settings from Martin, everything seems fine now. Logs look good. Had to make some adjustments with the T.P. POWER motor

Which tp motor do you have?

Model 5680, 800kv

These are the settings that smoothed everything out


p.52 10*

p.51 PWM 8khz

p.16 to 1.5 sec

p.22 80%

p.21 freewheel (yes)

Holy crap! The thing is a beast! What's the average run time on 12s?

Not very long really, about 10-12mins. I run turnigy 5000mAh HD 6s packs, should spend more money on better packs. But their high $235 each.

Il be running (3) 5s lipos packs next, going to try some 15s power.
