I didn't want to spend 200+ on body penals that brake on first roll over ,I checked youtube and figured out the way to make body it cost $50 to make one.

Hey I was wondering if you had any tips for doing this? I know a lot of RC bodies are solid, so the vacuum forming works great, however since the 5ive is multiple pieces, and so large, how did you do this and keep costs so low? thanks. -Paul

$50 is material and electricity used to make one body

CroFg, would be awesome if you can enlighten us. As I'm super interested.

As for the Carbon I'm pretty keen on how to do that. I'm in aviation. Prepeg would be better, but a ton more costly and specialized tool intensive.

Carbon fiber body I've made. i did the rear fenders so far and Gonna be @ glen helen rc raceway on sun to test out the rear fenders to see how it will hold up before i make the rest of the truck. Right now its 3 layers of 10oz carbon fiber. Lets see how much abuse it can take.

Damn dude that 5T model has those removable body pieces, l need a this body for a marder , and a beetle
I coulda swore l read the 5T has a hydraulic disk brake conversion but l guess not
