Bought a ARRMA Talion, 6S brushless rc, please forgive me for not stayed true to the dark side of gasoline, exhaust fumes, oily rags, pissed off neighbors... ja ja, but must disgracefully say its been tons of fun.

Its an experiment for a custom made heat sink. The 2050kv motor gets warm/hot every now and then so I don't think it needs a fan, just enough with a heat sink. I will swap them with thicker copper cable from a fan a neighbor threw away. Like it is, I can feel the heat from the motor on the outer copper wire. When running 5S, which is what it has on that photo,the motor feels more consistent, and with torque all the time until the battery runs out of juice.

I still got the large scales, wanted something to drive around without too much hassle and bothering the neighbors. Nearby were I live I can drive it into the night without any issues or complaints from the community. For the large scale I have to drive out to the field and by 6pm gotta pack up because there is no light. The place where I take the brushless has light throughout the night. The only hassle is humidity in the grass and dirt, make it difficult to drive.

Back to the main question, companies sell outer heat sink cans made of aluminum, just a can that goes over the motor. To me its more effective copper wire, its free, and have some spare parts from a large CPU heat sink as well. Once I am done will update with more pictures.

All Rc,s are good I've got 5th scales tractor trailers crawlers cars monster trucks but I am most passionate about 5th scale gas .Its just once in a while i want to run something different
