@Rich_Morgenstein the pipe did wonders for takeoff and top end. Before the pipe the 1:1 belt drive was junk for low end torque. After the pipe it will spin on dry concrete and has all kinds of take off power. It also sounds smooth on wound out top end unlike the stock pipe so we will agree to disagree. The pipe was not bought to increase the mph anyway. Only an idiot would expect it toI have also ran around 11 full tanks through it with not the first issue. I am on another well known forum and I think you are the first one that has said the 1:1 is bad for the drive train. Wow I hope you two haven't gave much advice on this forum because you have done it a great disservice.

I have seen your posts. I know like i said! The place that built pipe you bought did the math! Not like other crap ones you see online. Just saying wholepoint of reverd in 2stroke just gas use more effectively. Probably worded it bad lol but yes probably does take off faster and such just like you said. Also agree on ya about the whole fact redcats work fine when spend the time to make sure there all sound before you run them!

Well this has been interesting. Before I bought the truck and had a blast tinkering on it and getting the kinks out of it I had already read a thousand threads covering everything that you two have said by lots of different people. So it goes without saying that you @crankestein wasted your time jumping on a new guy to the forums thread bashing his choice of RC because it makes you feel better or because you are a Redcat hater. I could see if you were actually telling me some helpful info but we both know why you did it. I run the he'll out of my truck but it looks good doing it. @Rich_Morgenstein just because someone posts a picture of a clean truck with some chrome on it doesn't mean it's a shelf queen. Some of us like to clean them up well when done for the day and for good reason. If you want to keep yours looking rough and muddy that's your business. Thanks for the welcome and insight fellas.

Lol now that one cant see. Hell you still have the hot sticker on the cooling cover lol those fall off after about 20 tanks gas since not even a sicker....... just plastic peal off like see on a new computer lol just saying..... looks nice. But those are the ones i enjoy seeing pile driven into a tree csuse know how bad your wallet hurt with all that extra shinny stuff on it. And this account is new yes! But i have whole youtube channel of rc everything from 50inch lawnmowers to 4 foot arm spand drones... and the fact i make some of the stuff you all talk about sell lol cause.... i do own a 150,000sq foot machine shop with 110 cnc mahines cut parts for rc to air planes 24/7. Didnt notice the 1/4 aluminum plates in one posted alone just in front end lol 2x servo holders in all mine. Just saying! Not exactly new to rc hobies.... i do drive pro series 1/10 drift cars in contests in japan china 8 to 9 times year and have flown 3d hrlicopters as well all over world in contests since 90's lol

Your truck is pretty! Its also one i would build stick on a shelf cause not fun to drive as all stuff on it turns to hell if you really love your rc!

Mine is clean.... i also have all its guts covered and can take a pressure washer to mine without my electronics failing. Just saying, it being clean not issue. Not scratch on yours lol bet under side of it still has the little plastic stickers on it pointing to screws to loctite lol

You may be a pro at CNC but you suck at RC advice. I don't care how many RC's you have. The engine cover is aftermarket and was just put on an hour before taking the pic. It was $30 on Amazon. Bought a $780 truck but was scared to spend any money on a pipe said no one but you. It's all good bud you are only fooling yourself.

Defensive reply to say the least.

Yeah, all the likes I got I bought them on Ebay, LOL.

Go and clock some hard bashing, concrete driving might as well get a radio shack toy to do circles in the driveway.

I am a member of that forum as well and I have IM w plenty of members and their response has been shell the extra cash for Losi, HPI or a clone Rovan KM.

You said you were impressed, so far... ok.
And I said, clock some dirt miles and see how impressed.

But let me add, Redcat on V3 changed the chassis layout so that may have helped the blown diff housings, dog bones issue. Also, those belt systems come and go and prices are usually super high if sold online.

Its my opinion, and YES its a shelf queen.
The bottom of the chassis and debris marks on the a-arms are signs of bashing. Unless you drive yours on pillows.

You talk about how many likes you received like you are a teenage girl on Facebook. Hopping on my thread and hating on my truck from the start you act like one too. @atom3624 actually gave me helpful advice. Just Brand bashing is about all I have received from you. It is really considered a V3.5 since they have changed the V3 two or 3 times since it came out with hardened diff cups and stronger diff gears. That's why your whole premis for giving me your two cents was worthless to begin with. Go get on a HPI OR Losi thread where your input may need needed.

You feel so vulnerable your only hope is insulting others, triggered!
I don't know what you talking about teenage girls as I do not visit those types of girl FB links.

I already have accounts in Losi and HPI, looking forward to seeing your thread in the other RC section of those forums so users can provide their inaccurate input.

Am not bashing you or your truck. Its my opinion on it, I am NOT insulting you, if you don't like it, then don't post a thread as you cant take criticism. Its no big deal if to me its a shelf queen, its my opinion.

It is a wonderful truck so shinny and clean it almost looks like never ran.... damnit try again lol wait i got it! I love your truck it would look so nice to the 20 in my show case i never actually drive just built for fun... damnit well you got me, i give in.... im a hater lol but really!

My view is if you have the cash. Spend it on things you love! I have few pretty trucks cars and helicopters that are way past what you spent lol so i by all means can not speak a word lol. Ha sitting under a twin turbine jet 1/4 scale f22 as i write this pretty much out of 100% carbon fiber lol so....! Spend it play with it! Have fun and that is all that matters! Me and the princess of facebook that buys stuff on ebay don't matter lol

Ditch that belt drive though cause that damn thing i never seen soul make work right yet! Other then that though! Very pretty redcat mt! Just promise you will post one of when it hits a stone wall lolZ!

To the face bookqueen as he called him lol i have 1 of each of losi's 1/5 and 1/8 scales they make! But i have to say even losi screwed up a bit to here on there 1/5S AS WELL! Tons parts fn up. Even traxxas with emaxx and tmaxx 20 generations later to this point w/e scale want to call it still after 14 years break in the fronts and backs where diff sits on the frame so no rc model is without some down fall!

Hey kill, take your time with the truck, look it over, up grade what you know to be prone to failing, be meticulous. With your build and you will have a great truck. It's all how you build it and treat it. Go for it you'll be fine.

Yeah I pretty much have taken it slow from the start. I wouldn't even get out and run it hard until I had all the necessities done. I read too may bad stories of break in failures and seized stock bearings. Thanks @oskygt

Get that dune runner figured out, enjoy. I have a FG sportsline converted to Evo spec and a Carson fg knock off that I have modded a bunch, and no one is laughing. At our bash spot. All you have To do is think it out and do it. Also have. KM baja which is now a t1000 with a VW body. Have had 0 problems, runs fantastic.
