The I love dbxl was my 10 year old sons contribution gotta love the boy! ?? so will be upgrading shafts with flm. Thay come xweek from dbm. And new pipe( dominator) from ddm .And got a 2 speed fid racing off eBay 2nd hand cost me $70 au and not sure what it is missing but needs parts before I try to install. A new topic one day and probably a waste of time and money but you never know. Also some tape I got I seen someone using it on cvs to keep everything in ( utube)

I know it would be cool having a 2 speed. I'm thinking about getting a 32 motor when I can but the extra parts for the fid 2 speed ? I'm not really sure where I'm going to find and not sure on what parts I need either? Will have to do a post and ask the guys cheers bro
 
You may have to get a different gas tank in order for that 2-speed to fit. Pinon gears look bigger and may not fit with the stock gas tank.

See newbie mistake ! The bloke seen me coming ( $70 au.probley cheaper buying a new one .trying to get parts will be hard I think I'll put it in shed for a while thanks whoduh for advice
 
That particular 2 speed was over $300 US brand new when it first came out...i think it came with the gas tank too.
If needed you can get a larger capacity gas tank that should work with the larger pinons for around $40 or less US dollars. DGI makes one.
