Brand New Losi DBXL Revving but not moving

Hello, I just bought a Losi DBXL and when I took it outside to break it in it would barely move, but it did. I figured it must be just that I am not giving it enough throttle and didn't want to give it a lot during the break in. Once I had slowly driven around for about 30 minutes I opened it up a bit more and it was putting the power down for maybe 5 minutes. Then, all the sudden the car would barely move, even with a lot of throttle. What could this problem be? I have seen some stuff online about bolts for the clutch coming out but I am really not sure. Please help, thank you!

check the clutch, it could be going out, take a photo and show me if u could.

Will do, I saw one video where the botles holding the clutch to the engine had backed out. Could that be the problem, I mean it is brand new.

When I spin one tire the other spins in the same direction also. Car can roll it just makes alot of noise.

Yes when I spin the front they spin in unison and when I spin the back at first they go opposite and then together. The car rolls but makes a metal ringing noise.

the metal ringing is normal becuase the spur gear and pinion gear is metal.
 
Thank you everyone for your help, I ended up just taking it to the shop. Turns out that the pins in both the front drive shaft and rear had fallen giving me no drive and no brakes.

Yup, do you all recommend I get shock covers and a pull start pre filter? I am also looking at this pre filter for the stock K&N one ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IB26886/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3LHB5A51G5O79&psc=1 ). I also ripped one of the axel boots somehow breaking it in on my driveway. Are these common to rip/break because I am thinking about just ordering a bunch of them ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HS1F81K/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 ).

yes get a pull start cover.(y)..and I always fit shox socks....(y).....and a filter cover....(y).....boots yeah u will rip sum up for sure...:rolleyes:..always handy to have spares on hand...(y).....and do u the engine mesh mod done:unsure:......
