Ok been thinking about these 2 kits for a while. The snappy rc kit says does not work with DBXL on their sight but I've read several reviews that claim it can be fitted with some modifications.(which I'm not opposed to)
http://www.davesmotors.com/Snappy-RC-Ultimate-Fuel-Line-Kit-for-HPI-Baja-5B-5T-.html
the other kit is the full force kit. (I just have to reuse my factory gommet)
https://tgndistributing.com/products/fullforce-rc-2nd-generation-high-flow-fuel-line-kit
has anyone tried these in their DBXL? And if so did you actually notice the engine running better?
Thanks...

I have the FFRC one on my DBXL.
It's wasn't MADE for the DBXL though.
The brass fittings were loose in the rubber groment....i mean REALLY loose.
Had to change the grommet out in order for the brass fittings to stay and not move around all the time.

I have snappy rc fuel system in my Baja and it's the best mod I've done so far, no more vapor lock which was Soo annoying. also if u do mod the tank to fit the snappy rc one then u won't have problems with the fittings being loose. I think it's a good idea

A new grommet I can handle ?

Well thanks guys! The snappy rc kit is on it's way! It comes with a new grommet and the FFRC pickup and return tubes. I figure if the grommet doesn't fit I can make my own. I'll post up when it gets here.

Need to make the hole bigger for the snappy grommet. If your not using the full force brass fittings. That's it. If your using the FFRC fittings you'll need to put fuel tubing over the fittings so they don't leak. And the pickup that has the filter or "clunk" on it will have to be ran fairly high up. don't bother with the brass fittings imo. Not really needed.
And don't forget to plug the hole in the fuel cap as it wont be needed.

u can jus see rthe tube on mine here..

Ok thanks that won’t be a problem just wasn’t to sure. You wouldn’t happen to know how much bigger? I have a step bit I could use but don’t want to make it to big and have fuel leak out.

@evssv thanks for the pic kinda like the way it looks might consider doing the pick ups.

They upgraded the breather with my kit. And I think it was 3/4 inch.... here's a pic of mine it works ok. I may ditch the brass fittings as they are kinda a pain.

Yeah they claim they changed something internal in the breather. The brass fittings arnt made for a dbxl (obviously) the intake one needs to be ran up rather high so the fuel line can bend nice for the filter bit on the end. Thinking I may ditch that one.

Yea hopefully if not maybe I’ll loop a piece of hose and put the breather higher up.

@evssv yea it sucks but that’s mostly what we have around here. Would go to the park at first but it’s just flat terrain and got boring quick.
