Hmm No one . Crickets . All right lets try this question . Does anyone have Front Hydraulic Brake in there HPI 5B or 5T. If so could you please measure how tall the Master cylinder is where mounted and the maker of the Brake kit ?

maybe you could take something from this picture ?

look closely were his master cylinder is mounted. tbh ive heard nothing but trouble with these brakes, even the cable ones. personally i wouldn't mess with em

I was looking at this kit John. https://www.dgiracing.com/gtb-new-type-ii-4-piston-front-hydraulic-brake/ . Z I can't even see the master cylinder in that picture.:LOL: Thanks though. The Olimat sits higher and I think a little closer to the roll bar than that pipe in the picture .
Yeah the pic is a bit crappy lol.
So basically gtb's lol.

The picture was just small .

What's wrong with GTB? You say LOL. Mecatechs are out of my price range and even if they weren't DDM is out of them . DGI has the GTB's for a good price.
Well I've only heard bad things about gtbs and all them hydros, never had em, never will, just another thing to be problematic and break, my engine is problematic enough ??

The GtB brakes work just as well as the mecatech and they are more affordable. Ive had both kits with good sucess and ive put them through all kinds of bashing. GtB does have good quality. The newer kits at least. Version 2. Next to the mecatech they are 2nd in my opinion compared to all the other brands. Here is the measurment. Its exactly 2 inches for the front brakes. The 4 wheel brake kit sits on top of a small metal piece which I don't have the measurement for. Hope it helps.

Also, Topspeedrcworld has the GtB front brake kits for $99. Just FYI if you wanna save a few bucks. Good luck with your project.

Ok so his reply was in our closed chat room was this
This is the baja so far... ALX forgot the header flange though dammit. So have to wait for that. still need to set up the mecatech breaks on it, throttle servo and waiting for my front yostie hubs to come in. Other than that she's close.

I swapped my 46 I had for this 65
