So I finish the front end. ?
So I went to start the rear swap but was derailed. I thought I would swap in alloy rear from plastic one but they are different.
So can anyone tell me,what I have? and/or vintage.
It looks I have to get a different rear or at least parts to match orig plastic one.
I received some "Special offers" for rear parts but I don't know what I'm missing besides shock tower differences.
It seems I was sold a hodge podge of parts, but ended up with 465mm because of it. So there's that.?
#1: Orig rear installed. Plastic
#2: Came with 465mm chassis Was going to put this in sportsline.
#3: was going to us with 465mm but it don't look right. I think it's been creatively changed. I don't know what model it came from.
Any ideas as what I have,I've spent more then I wanted to have to buy more parts.
Pic of 2 rears I need identified.
Looks like I might need to find parts to keep the rear for sportsline.
The metal is different between the 2 alloy rear ends.
1 seems sturdier and stronger then the other. It's like it's made from different metal.
While #3 is definitely aluminum, lighter weight and duller appearance.

- Anyone have any fg parts, contact me.
I'm always looking.
Onroad and 2wd Leopard alloy parts especially wanted.

Forgive errors too tired to proof read whole thing after 3 tries - lol

I have no fekking idea.It seems to work properly, but not sure what to do. The aluminum is different also, the front I got with it matches it with same type aluminum.
I guess for now I'll replace plastic with alloy parts from #2. Then buy alloy shock tower or try to find whole rear. Time for more detective work.
The one thing I hate are getting parts that aren't what they say they are.
Just part of the learning I guess, but dang it can get expensive.
I'm talking to a guy in Germany that parts out whole fg cars every few months, but he doesn't know when he'll part out next batch- could be weeks to months.
I think it's missing stabilizer setup parts also.
It just never ends,finding parts.

Thanks

Showing those screws Doug's video helped them decide to leave, with help of a dermal threatening them as backup.

Ok so I decided to remove the engine because I saw and felt oil under the engine. It was all over the chassis. Finally I removed last 2 stubborn screws-omg!.
There was oil over underside of engine covering header and exhaust mount. On top of that it was pouring out of a joint that did not use silicon tube to join the exhaust together. Oil poured out of the exhaust pipe and points along header. At least a good pint plus some!!. The exhaust was filled completely up to the engine exhaust port!.
I made a collage - (testing but came out pretty cool). So oil was all over the kitchen, living room floors. I was thinking a car don't have as much oil as I saw come out⛲.
Well I guess that means I'll just have to put in the new obr 29.5 now.
Yeah I know, poor ol me. ???
I don't know whether to do a build post because I can't guarantee I'll be up to it healthwise.

How the fek would that happen ?? that's alot of oil

I have absolutely no idea how so much oil could have accumulated like that. I,only ran the engine once because car wouldn't move. The next day I discovered the throttle cable was disconnected. Sat for months as health issues stalled any work on it.
I'll see probably won't be regularly postings though.

At least now I know why it was soo... loud and tons of smoke poured out. I can imagine I almost took a torch to try to loosen up those screws, thank goodness I was Leary and decided something was wrong.✔
I bought it that way. I never had a chance to fully check out because if health. I'm finally feeling a little better,so trying to tackle it before things get worse.
And Zee,I haven't even begun on you,yet son.??--?
Lol✔
