ere is a similar Hot Rod project for sale at E-bye atm. Also with a conley engine. It needs a shell and some attention to detail. Maybe its for yo to pick up, but he is asking the world for it.

OG Conely NA was $5800. Add on the Charger, headers and it was $8k 15 years ago. With that chassis body etc i can see $15-20k

The is the Australia company who bought the Conley rights and makes their own v8. Quarter scale something or other.

Hey I am a drag racer and without a doubt " Old School" dragster and funny car guy , yes in a real dragster the motor is in the front and "NOT" behind the driver. Also a machinist and actually in the process of building a couple of the V8 engines now so I can relate 100% what is involved in a project like this.
Very cool car for sure.
