Just put one off theses engines in my dbxl, didn't change anything and it fitted straight in,, so why do sites say there changes to the clutch housing and that needed ?

Most of the issues. Are upgrades everyone seems to make on every other model or specific stuff that you fix right once and it's not so much an issue. The rcmk may have a nicer layout. But other then DDM Nd the few things that fit from a dbxl, the dbxl is still more popular and has a better parts availability. (I know hard to believe) I think from.what I've read the rcmk may have the advantage in having heavier cv shafts. But honestly the flm shafts have been doing me just fine, and CBS are a wear item in any rc. I like the rcmk a lot and wish the dbxl had more in common with it, but , like I said before, were talking about two rigs that are not very popular, and have limited aftermarket support.

Man there's alot of problems with the dbxl I hear, 50 ain't enough id think
Theirs a good video on YouTube about this. And after owning one I see what he's talking about. In all 1100 1200 bucks depending on what parts you go with. And I'm speaking for the gas model. Guess I should have mentioned that.

The new electric 2.0 version is well worth tbh. Already comes with alot and much more then the gas. Just replace the servos and done. You have a great car.

It seem as tho no matter what car you go with servos need to be replaced.
