Mcd evo 3 ultimate baja 1000 5 years in box

Hi, been out of 1/5 for a while, moving, grand kids, etc ..so well behind on latest stuff, well had some spare time lately and the mcd has got out of its box, dusty forgot how dirty it was. So gonna get back to former self, All servos are still good, kill switch is good, shocks gonna have seals done and new oil, got new monts to go on, and have got brand new long travel shocks that may go on, would love a new shell now, but the old 1 is still cool, but batterd..The engine is a zen 4 bolt oddi tuned, not been started in 5 years, so may need some tinkering.. feel like I've got the buzz back abit..

Hi all, bit of a clean today, storm Dennis is here, so had time to do a bit..

So bit more done, new seals in shocks, these are pressure adjustable, you can turn the piston to three different position. Also notice the oil in tray. Left is old shock oil, and right is what a got out the petrol tank after sitting for so long, guess the engine is gumed up..

So got it together now, decided to put the old spare race runner shell on it, as wanna get the Baja 1 sorted a bit. Detached my inner shell made from a old rr 1 ready, also made a wing with and old fg lorry mount and some plastic. So fuel in and off I go..I'm filming and driving at same time but it's ok. Cant believe how good it ran with just a quick clean of the carb.?
