Coil on rovan 30.5 cc

Changed to hi-prorfmance coil from daves. Should the gap be the same?

A gap tool is also incredibly cheap is you want to be spot on. I think mine was under $5 at NAPA.

Reset everything. It is a Rovan 30.5 cc has a 990 carb, daves hi- pot. coil, new plug, daves intake, velocity stack. Still will not start. Thanks for any help.

You should just get a genuine Zenoah coil but I heard Z uses a Gizmo coil that is cheaper.

It's a cy coil. But works fine on zen ?

Richen the low needle 1/2 turn anti clockwise.
If it starts turn it back.
Either that or give it a squirt of starter fluid through the air filter.
Those 990s are a pain to start with no choke.
I'd chuck it and get a Walbro 1107.
I got my coil gap tool from Daves.

Bought the gap tool on impulse while I was buying a motor.
Never used it though
