I’ve seen the nitro versions... but would love to have a gas 2- stroke version...

Especially since it won’t stop raining here... ?‍

Could probably make one easy enough. There isnt much to them. Just a duck boat, prop, and two louvers for steering. Would be fun I bet.

Yeah... I think it would be a blast! I’m Just not a nitro fan... much rather it have a gas engine

Pretty easy to make really, my great uncle had one. Make dam sure you build a cage around the prop. Just need a prop mount for a large scale airplane. A hunk of wood or whatever else you want to use that floats. Can make the air director out of about anything, reciever, gas tank 2 servos and you got an air boat.

Yeah... gonna take a little time to get everything fabricated... and lots of trial and error but would definitely be pretty awesome!

I would mount the engine to the boat itself and use a belt to drive the prop. Otherwise, it's going to be very top heavy!

All depends on how wide and long you make the boat . If he does it to scale it would be fine. I'm guessing about 14" wide by 30" long. Need about a 8 to 10 inch prop maybe. Just a lot of guessing hear. I honestly don't know. I would think it's already been done before so just start googling for plans.
