Got it tuned in real nice was making WOT passes listening and observing performance....and kerclunk saw some poop go flying and that was it. It wasn't the pinion though...brief puff of maybe spur gear shavings lol...its still useable though.

Todays damage: $584...NOT all from this incident. Have the following coming:

Brushless conversion for my Mini-t
Futaba 4PM
Add'l Receiver for above two
Vertigo clutch bell
22t pinion
DGI tank (to allow 22t)
Tank mount

And...

Big bore kit from DDM...gonna take a bit for parts from Vertigo to show up. I'm in MI they're in British Columbia

If you don't have it already, the fid center diff mount should be added. How I toasted my pinion. The plastic mounts cracked after a bad tumble, and caused the pinion to break off. Didnt realize it till I had it tore apart.

If I could find one that'll show up before the end of RC season (summer) Id get one...I'm 5 or 6 weeks in on my steering linkage. Its still sitting in China as far as tracking goes.

Got you, but Corona started getting serious around Feb or so. Oh well. Yeah I stay away from FID if possible, especially now. I believe there may be a couple FID sellers on ebay that have in stocks in the states?

I found 1 out of I believe Minnesota. Very limited selection. This was just this week

Kinda hard to stay away from fid when you own the red headed bastard child of losi ??. But yeah china orders arnt coming in anytime soon. Worst case you should be able to order the plastic bits if tour mount is feked
