OK OK now that I got your attention.. ???

No I'm not doing anything remotely like that.

I've been looking at the crazy stu intake setup. (Mainly looking because I can't drive it right now all of my parts will be delivered tomorrow so I can build it back again..)

They have to be making a killing off of that product all it is is a silicone type hose that can withstand high heat bent to a certain degree and a "velocity" stack.

Have you guys ever seen any setups similar to these like with comparable material that worked?

Dammit maybe my meds need to be upped. My minds been rambling alot lately ????

Oh poop ??‍♂️
There is a thread on here some where that has instructions to build a knock off for around $40 bucks I think ?

I’m sure someone here will find it for you. Or hit the search box ur self and knock ya self out ??

To make your own is actully really easy. First you need to know the Id of the hose you want to use. The start searching on Google for Silicone hose with what ever degree bend you want in it with the ID and see what comes up or. Buy some aluminum tubing and build a cold air intake similar to a car's but with the appropriate diameter tubing and silicone connectors.

The hard part is connecting it to the carb with no interference.

Yep , just get sum silicon tube, a aluminum tube that fits in the silicon, then put ur filter on the aluminum part and ur done. It's super simple, mine was probably $30 including filter ($6 for the silicon tube, $10 for the metal tube, and 15 for the air filter(

I got a straight silicone style tube, it will be custom bent using the technique described above. I already have the stack, filter, and clamps I just need the hose which I get Monday
