True you have to spin them. BUT in a drag car with a high stall convertor or a clutch setup you could spin it into the rpm it needs to be. Even a transbrake will help on launch. If you spin them they make power but with a off idle launch or something. Than Yeah. You going to have an issue. But being this a drag car. No idling around and stop light to stop light or stop and go traffic. Pin it and hold on. Have to see what happens.

I think that’s really cool because it’s all done the fuçk up! That’s super custom, you can’t walk into a random shop and get this sorta work done so I love the craftsmanship behind it.

but me personally. Give me a good LS engine with either some twin turbos or a BMF supercharger and call it a day ???‍♂️ Sweet and simple daily driver ??

Kinda sounds like the rotery engine guys lol. Rev it to the moon and dump the clutch

Exactly same thing. I used to autocross and there were a few Mazda rx's that would show up. Same thing with them. They had to spin them like crazy on the course. Tight section and if car didn't handle it was a turd again getting back up to speed. Same thing with the Porsche Boxter first ones. I talked to the guy who bought one after he got rid of his race car he used to run. Asked him how he liked it. Said it sucks for autocross.. No low end power BUT if you spin it it is fast. Was mainly his weekend street driven car so was good for canyon burning. Just not tight technical stuff.
