Sons want a Losi 5t or equivalent for Xmas

I may have waited to late I am not new to RC but I am returning from when I was a teen

Def never had a 1/5 yet and my sons won't settle for anything less they want a Losi RTR but I am open to the competition like the king motor or the rovan

Any possibility on where to get one or is being put on a backorder list my best bet

We are making a transition from 85cc motocross to something slightly ? more affordable and definitely puts momma thru less stress

If it's a no go for Xmas then I will have to get a filler gift and you know after we buy one we will have to have 2 then a spare and spare parts ?

Yep bought the 5t 2.0....best rc purchase ive ever made and ill never look back....buy new so you have a warranty...buying other peoples rigs used is buying other people's issues. Unless you got big cash flow for these

@Braapdaddy please don't buy a clone. Clone comes with clone issues and by the time your done swapping to genuine 5t stuff to fix issues you'll be over genuine 5t price

Apparently it hasn't after years of them cloning. Plus the clone upgrades are just as poop as the stock stuff most of the time, defeating the purpose of the word "upgrade" ?

Depends on the clone you buy, the 30 degrees north is great but not easily available in the USA.
