The reply was aimed at Trooper sry. I don't think enough people are buying the big bore engines fast enough to justify selling at a lower price. I like where his head is at but I don't think it's a road worth taking. He seems to think a CNC machine is gonna put him in the game but I don't think there is much of a game to begin with.

Ever seen a cheap rx8?‍♂️ or Dodge charger? mmmmm nope?‍♂️ big power cost $$$ and buy cheap ? costs double when I fails?
Rcmax motors and alx come with pipes n clutches Obr twim comes with a drop in kit and pipes ? this all costs. Your cheap Chinese motor probably no clutch no pipe and won't drop right in so........... it will cost the same or more to go the fong cong way?‍♂️?

He seems to think a cnc will get him in the game.. (not) but the guys running the cnc could change the game..

Plus when it blows up in 6 months, you gotta rebuild that piece of poop. Another thing to consider is customer support, those no name engines are made by companies with little to no customer service. Alx and rcmax have 10/10 customer service ,and if something goes wrong they are there to support you. NOT just take your money

Here's a cheap Charger for ya! I know you aussies pay big bucks for american muscle! You could buy this thing for about the same $$$ as a 71cc or 80cc lol

Trust is earned. Its something I have to work on right out of the gate. Im not trying to get rich. Im trying to do what makes me happy. And quit my job?

That's what I was talking about earlier with the scooter crankcase post, what I mentioned is exactly what he did ? his motor works well

actually , a few people have took minarellli horizontal scooter crankcases and chopped it up and fitted it to bajas. in fact i used to have pics, it really wouldnt cost too much. just would need some welding and you would need to modify the minarelli crank ends (too long) so fit the baja. then the rest you would just use the minarelli top end kits already out there (plenty of great options that make alot of power) and bearings and such. you would also need to make a custom intake manifold and exhuast but that isnt such a big deal. could probably mod a rcmax pipe to fit. honestly i think that motor could be done for 800 or less. its a bit of a hackjob and doesn't look nearly as nice as an alx or rcmax but it can be done. and the fact that its based off that platform opens up alot of opportunities as that scooter engine has alot of aftermarket support (head kits. bearings. cranks ect) . i can find the pics and help you out if needed as ive done some research on this build, if you decide to go this route
