any way to get the browness off the pipe? I don’t think it’s rust
Is there a way to get it to look like dougs raw oilmat?
Also, my friend 5t is also running a stock g320 and same 20t pinion and just seems faster and higher revving than mine, only difference is pipe and carb, I am running and endbeed which I hear is better anyways.
He gets temps around 180 and mine is like 260

Scotchbrite and 320 to start and work your way up to wet sanding and polishing wheel if you want the mirror finish. The bands I used a map gas torch, I'll use a fine tip on the torch next time to get the bands a little thinner. I'm gonna polish it today and reband it. Not gonna go too crazy as it won't last forever, but looks decent. IMO it looks much better on polished titanium pipes. I know you were asking about coloring your pipe before and how.

That was just scotchbrite pad and 320 wet paper lying around with absolutely minimal effort...so just saying you were asking about coloring your pipe before this is how you do it. Typical kid,...stroke!🤣
