Exactly! Thank you ZJust sand the poop out of it going from course to fine papers and then polish it, blue the welds if you can find someone else with a torch (wouldnt trust you anywhere near a torch) and done. And don't be a lazy fiddlestick and oil it after every run next time. FFS![]()
BUT BUT......BUT that wont SCRRATCH it will IT????You need to remove a light layer of the steel junkie. Your using abrasives that aren't as aggressive you need if you still see the blue and that means you just polished it and didn't remove material like you need to

lol that makes me further debate on whether i should do thisThe bluing you see is from heat penetration into the steel surrounding the weld. You meaning yourself can't really replicate that properly.
yeah thats what I don't want, cant put them back with a torch like in the video?You will permanently lose the color around the welds tho....
