I was interested to see what all yall do to make cleaning the toys a bit easier? Because it seems every 10 minutes of battery life turns into an hour or more of scrubbing lol I'm pretty hard on it honestly and I try to keep it clean but doing 40 mph wheelies with the paddle tires in sand is so epic 🤣

cover the air filter and electrics as much as possible and hose off and blow off with compressed air, then wd40 it and wipe off (y),
if you run in sand a lot then more strip down and clean is gonna be needed,
beach sand equals salt, which equals knackered bearings etc,

Only took it on sand and did a strip after but basic muck and grime from a field, but wd40 doesn't hurt the plastic? Don't mean to have a silly question just figured be safe than sorry, I appreciate your time tho 😊

After a dirty session I cover the intake and electronics and give everything a good spray with simple green. Let it sit a while then hose it off. Breaks down any oil/grease and washed the dirt right off. Use my compressor to blow it off really good then spray everything with a good soak of WD40 Silicone spray then wipe off the excess. Like like new every time.

wd40 is fine on the plastics mate (y)(y),
i've been using it for years with no problems,
others on here use wd as well and i'm sure a few other people will chime in with other sprays they use as well ,
Wd is probably the cheapest vs detailer sprays, does it make gunk stick to it with the oily residues?

I use simple green foaming crystal then blow it off with leaf blower. Still have to do some wiping but works pretty well.

If your running on salty sand Def spray every bolt with wd40. They will rust crazy fast if you don't.
I got the full stainless kit because of the rusting issue but I still oil them down after any wet or muddy run to be safe

Any dry silicon spray will work, wd 40 for the pipe. The pipe burns off the wd40 really fast and the dry silicon spray doesn't attract dirt like "wet" silicon or oil based products. And for what it's worth I just take the garden hose to my rigs and wash them off, then blow them off with the air compressor then spray them up with whatever I'm using at that point.

Oh I heard the garden hose is bad for the bearings, the udr is waterproof and I have a pack of fast Eddie replacements but I've just been tooth brushing this bish 😬 I feel like a goof lol.

problem is its a UDR.. the SBR2 has the same problem the cage and tightknit chassis makes it hard to get things out..

First time i Drove my SBR2 after it rained. 30 minutes of super awesome fun. 2 hours of terrible cleaning. dirt mud grass got everywhere...The nooks and crannys of these enclosed baja trucks makes its a pain to clean. Honestly fastest ive found way to clean them to suck it up and take the cage off. headache but save so much time. Give it a hell of a shaking upside down, then air compressor the $*!T out of them.
