TSCO winter Baja

Wanted a cool winter project, decided a tracked kraken baja would be bad ass. Thinking smallbore as they probably aren't bigbore rated. Have a parts baja coming that has the rest to complete it basically.

They are raminator tires, they seriously look weird on any other 1/5 because how big they are. Here are pics of them next to a baja, and a vekta

Going electric, wanted it reliable for the winter, and engines just have to much that can go wrong, and wanted something fun for the winter and easy. Going with a hobbywing 800kv motor and a max4. Have the mounting kit already coming and the hpi battery box.

Rear shocks are done, and the electric conversion kit came from China. Galante limit straps are also on.

Some updates, electric kit is in and so is the battery box setup. Also got the max4 esc and hobbywing 800kv motor in. Hopefully have in next week and run videos after

Forgot to update this, she's done though. Had a friend david dalmas solder the plugs on for me, which turned out awesome.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble but the 8s setup is out and sold . Installed the Akill setup and pipe. Entire setup is only 30.5lbs with fuel and battery.

honestly i think i can say that we are far more interested in this akill engine than a tried and tested hobbywing electric setup!
