So I plan on racing my losi 5ive t and im using baja rear tires on all 4 corners and so far I have the mad max- super grips and they are good but looking for more choices if there is any. I plan to stick with the 5b rears and im not interested in the taller 5ive-t sized street tires as im looking for a larger contact patch with the ground. Thanks guys.

I would use an adapter and run mcd street tiresB0693C34-3F26-415E-B035-FC6192FCCFD1.webp

Thanks Bobby for that and I actually have those on the 5ive right now, I was hoping for a tire with a bit of squish to it. The onroad tires seem to be a bit thin in the side wall.

Fair enough, so do we have an alternative to super grips? I will say tho that they do very well. Just curious if there was a racing oriented tire but seeing as the baja isn't known to be a glorious road racer im going to believe the pickings are slim.

Brp are an option, mcd, super grips is about it. Rovan makes slicks but I don't think they are any good.
Hostile slicks were the best but they don't exist anymore
From what I see brp looks like the best
I got a set of brps that i haven't messed with alot but they got no squish... Seems like a good straight line tire

I know the best answer but just non existent and those are foams. Bobby I will definitely look into the mcd tires, are they a 24mm hex? @Ohiolargescale thanks for the info on the brp's that was a question I was curious about, it's a shame those are just solid tires. @Z.hb71 I know I wish hostile still made tires and those super grips are pretty good, I was adjusting the 5ive's suspension and I had a light tire dust across the back of it and when I tried to wipe it off the rubber fought me and was actually pretty tacky, it was good to see it was a fine dust rather than the typical build up you would find from doing burnouts in cars.

Your welcome. The brps i have are alittle taller than the hpi tarmac also if you pursue that option
