Don't forget to coat the diff cage with petroleum jelly and install silicon on both sides. That silicon mod has even saved my stainless case from scratches.;)
Nice looking alloy on that beast!

Cheers BTB, got some nice black sili in the van....think i will have to take off rear diff mount to do it, will post up some pic's when done...it did have a plastic wedge screwed up behind the diff, but that just scratched it up with grit that got cought in there.

Hey Super, that does look like you already have the raised rear hubs fitted to your truck :) I fitted mine last night, now just need to mod the front hubs and fix the bumper and I'll be mobile again :D

Seems i have got to mill the small engine mount a little as the engine wont go back enough to mesh with diff gear, its hitting the ball end of the lower a arm...mmm...then the spur gear will be really close...may have to raise the upper a arm with some washers?

Anyone else had this problem when fitting the alloy rear end?

Right now....have put in another order to Hobbytec so should sort this out.
Parts to come are-

Rear alloy upright lengthening set,

Rear alloy uprights - raised

HT alloy riser plates for rear axle

My engine mount has a slight cut out on it to clear the bolt (it looks machine done), I thought that's how they came?

Ducky...my engine mount is like your's but i had 2 washers under the ball, so it hit the ball end, it was like this before i got it, now ive taken them out and it's ok but my 48 gear is fouling on the turn buckel.

Got any pic's of yous on that side mate?

Its like my upper a arms are 90 degrees and the old plastic one's are not?

Here you go mate, I think mine clears because I have the two speed on, I've not tried it with the alloy A-arms and a single speed, but it looks like mine would foul the nut otherwise! But I am using two caster spacers up front....

Ah, yes I have the 44T on second....explains the extra clearance! But I can't see how it should foul..unless there are different A-arms....but I did see a set on Ebay which looked slightly pissed a while ago, assumed they were bent so perhaps there is a version with a slight angle in it (or I need new glasses :D)???

You have a very nice car, i love that black body
it looks very angry with that bullbar and the lights, i want it too on my mt but im scared that when i make a rollover once they all break:S
and to bad for your rear diff. you have to buy a new one:p

If you would like to have a rollbar with lights, there is a post on here with pics. On the thread, he will show you how to protect those lights... But you are right, if the lights are unprotected and you roll your truck they will break off!!

Trip..
