What is the stock connector on the battery. The stock one is crap, going to drop my 3300 in there so i can run more then half a tank at a time lolz.

on my 3300 I just have a standard(Tamiya) connector.

Can you post a picture of your battery? As there ar different connectors.
I can suggest waht to get from only batterys then...
I want to make sure you get the right application for your use.....Slawhammer

well your switch on your electronic box must be female end..the male from the on/off
switch goes in your rec.....So the battery will have a male end...going to the electronic
box on/off switch..that would be female there....
So you need a harness or connector wire with male one end /female the other end....
Look at your battery & then look at the on/off switch....
You should be able to tell then............Slawhammer..........

pick up a cheap soldering setup, some solder and wire and practice a bit. Making your own stuff is the way to go and you are never dependant on having to buy retail and wait...

I use a gun for everything. it gets hotter faster and can do thick wires. Just remember to tin everything first (get solder on the wires, and through all the strands, and solder on the plug connections) then stick the wires together and get it hot enough to melt the solder on both wire and plug, then let it setup. tug on the wires after you are done to make sure you got it right... just get the solder to flow, or completely melt and you are good to go.

btb time for another one of your infamous tech videos me thinks

ehhh.. ive decided just to get a better battery .. one that has the connector already on it...

is everybody else running stock? or what do you guys have?

I like to use this web site www.batteriesamerica.com
Now if you go bigger in voltage and mah you will need to get a voltage regulator
To bring every thing to 6 volts....These people also have the 6 volt regulator's
there like $20 bucks.......
I use a stick battery 8.4 volts 4600Mah....with a 6volt regulator
I can run my firehammer for 5 tanks of fuel on the battery charged in the car...
your TX batteries will die before the car will.....
Just my thoughts here......Slawhammer............

I hear ya Slawhammer. I run dual 3s 2200mah lipos in parallel with a Y cable through a Castle bec at 6v. I can go all weekend and not worry. I like knowing there's 10 amps available

I am using the Hydrimax 4200 NiMH. It is a VERY tight fit. At first I thought it wasn't going in but it did.

1+ I am using the Hydrimax 4200 NiMh 5 cell too. It is great cause it fit in the box and protected. I have frankenstine a 3300 NiMh in the tray but could not cover it well. The battery get wet from the snow and begin to rust.

I never use up the power out of these cells. I normaly break something first.
