What a fun day. I spent an hour on wasaga beach today rippin my marder back and forth on the beach. I had it all to myself and the sand was damp so there was great traction and lots of wheelies:2guns:

I would have stayed out there untill I ran out of gas but I had a bad flip and lost one of the suspention pins.:(

I cant wait to get back there again but next time with my Shockwave SS.....

Hey Al, did you take the Baja to Wasaga? How was it?

I did but I didn't get a chance to rip it on the sand. I may go again next weekend.

I did however get a good rip in at the local scool field. I really like it. I guess it will be a little faster when It breaks in and I can lean it out but right now my marder is much faster and more responsive with it's zen g230.

I put the samba on it and it fit great and helped the top end alot... I guess I'll be keeping that pipe after all.

The only thing I don't like so far is that the steering is not very responsive at all. You need to be off the gas to turn or forget it. any gas at all and your going in a straight line. The marder is much better in the handling department. I wonder if a little weight in the front end will help.

We will have to meet up and check it out. You can also try out you Marder wheels. I find the smaller diameter wheels handle much better. We tried mine on Brad's Comp 4wd as well as trying the Baja stock wheels on my Elcon Cleon. Didn't really like them myself.
The Samba makes a huge difference. I tried the stock box for a few minutes and then mounted the FG pipe from Clubin and it woke right up!!

So any plans for the body yet...... :clown:
