You get those wheels yet? The tires look alot like mine. They grab well. Did you get 4 of the rear tires? I like the setup of all 4 the same size, but wonder if more narrow like a baja would help in close quarters turning.

That's unfortunately the trade off between traction and agile turning.

I have those on all 4 and that's the same situation I'm in. But perso it's well worth it as in loose ground the negative aspect of it disappears.

Got em but haven't fitted em yet.
Doing alloy hub mounts , new bearings , adapters and wheels all at once.

That is what I thought man. My DR doesn't have the greatest radius in tight areas, but in larger areas with loose dirt I can whip it around pretty well. My thought putting all 4 the same size was as you described equal even traction. I am very happy with them

Tyres are the same
Slightly different wheels

Well @Phill I just ordered the belt drive for my DR. Here is the story. I put lighter wheels and tires on my MT, they are a little taller and an inch more narrow than the stock. With the belt setup on the MT and those lighter wheels it is so snappy on take off almost no lag. It didn't have that with the original wheels. I imagine on the DR it will be a vast improvement also.

Improved mine outta sight

I just ordered a set of 170 x 60 mm front wheels for my DR
I didn't like the "steam roller" look with the 4 big tyres.
Hopefully it will look more like a buggy now and the steering will improve.
Will take pics when I have them on.

Nice man!

Oh yea it does! Looks good man. Now how's the handling?

Update
This thing is a weapon and steers great at low speed.
At high speed it's still steer with the throttle but they're like that standard.
Looks realistic with the slightly narrower tyres on the front
