Has there been a tool invented or are we still trying to hammer and or press them in and out?

No way should you need a 1 ton press. A little heat goes a long way.One ton arbor press didn’t do poop, I’ll have to go hydraulic, what tool did u use to press out the pins.?
Great idea!I use one my first Motorcycle Chain Breaker Tools like the attached one. I thin k it was like $8 on fleabay. I opened the pocket (Orange Circle) to accommodate the round part of the driveshaft and had to sand down the pin for the smaller pins on the driveshafts vs a roll pin on a motorcycle chain. Works fine and don't ask my how i know that a bicycle chain breaker does not work. Put the handle in the vise or just hold it. There are more expensive ones but not needed IMO.
