I am using the DDM billet manifold with white nylon spacers. I am using the spacer that came with the 5-t in-between the carb and the Bartolone v2 velocity stack to keep it from hitting the choke lever. I am using the DDM DT1 filter. Only thing I can think of is to just order a standard velocity stack. That might pull the filter back about a 1/4 inch.

Get rid of the spacer between the carb and velocity stack as it isn't needed.
I agree with that, good call.

That’s not bad, you should get an outerwear pre filter for sure.
I use an OBR velocity stack and the Dt1 and it also smooshes against the cage a bit. No big deal. It sucks in air regardless.

Good choice, did you make sure to get the one for the 32cc? They offer one for a 26-30.5cc, just want to make sure you saw they offer 2 sizes.

I got the one for the 32cc. That Bartolone v2 velocity stack has to have a spacer between it and the carb or it will press against the choke lever. I have a DDM 1" velocity stack that I had left over from my Vesla, so I will try that as well.

Picture speaks louder than words, pretty sure all from DDM. Decided to just throw some stickers on and send it, new MOD body.I did reuse part of 30 degree north body, iner fenders.Just cut off what I needed and attached reusing existing hardware.

I use the 1" ddm velocity stack and ditch the ddm billet isolator as those white spacers are garbage, get the billet obr one and never look back.
Appreciate sharing your knowledge. I am following along and so confused now.

DDM v2 Billet Aluminum Zenoah G320RC / G320PUM Insulator Manifold

** Use this, throw away the white spacers and use normal gaskets?

How do you use these at the same time?

@cmbscx10 no you cannot use gaskets and not have a plastic spacer, you will send heat from the cylinder to the carb which will cause the fuel in the carb to boil then vapor lock which will shut the engine off.

You can only use one velocity stack at a time, pick one you like and run with it.

Thanks. I'm still confused on what your recommending but i completely understand the heat transfer and what it does to the fuel. I am a visual learner so I'll do more research and figure it out.

I already have the DDM 1" so I'll stick with that one and try the OBR power stack on my OBR 34 Reed.

One could easily notch the Bartolone V-stack base with a carbide bit to create more space for the choke lever and get rid of that spacer.

I already have the outerwear pre filter, I just haven't put it on yet.
I would just like to add that the outerwears are worthless against fine dust . They are good to have but the foam filters are. A must . I even put marvel mystery fluid on the foam to help the fine dust from getting in . I use the aluminum offset intake with an outerwear , the k& n filter style , with foam inside of that . I e been driving where they processed the alta dena fire toxic waste as it is the only large space to run the 5 t and it's been freshly graded so it's a nice area . A little dusty been free and open .
