Thanks!

I'm scheduled for some oval & drag racing with 20 odd other 5th scales this weekend, so we will see how well it does!

I saw this and tried it while using genuine hpi plastic front arms and i notice it makes the plastic part of the steeringing turnbuckels hit the shocks? Did you have this issue?

If I recall correctly it did do something similar when stock. I just checked how it is now. With wider arms and symsteer it butts up on the lower arm before it gets close to the shock.

Last bash was more successful. Still ended up broke 😜 but it lasted longer and the servo held up this time. The gearing helped with the pep, while the wide arms and sym steer made it handle more pleasingly. Still managed to flip it and broke the cheap metal rear shock tower.

So I got to work through it and change some stuff, snap 'n' upgrade 😁 The Taylor tower went on

Brakes were feeling a little weak so went with the one piece Turtle Racing set up to see if it changes anything

Then beefed up the front end a little with the GTB Bumper bar

And in an effort to keep the front wheels in contact with the ground for a few split seconds longer, I went with the steel chassis protector rather than alloy

Finished off by switching out the stock intake setup for the Taylor angled intake, velocity stack and a new and freshly oiled Ramair filter
