It sure is! They are a good bunch and we always have a ton of fun and go home broken

I'll be taking this and my DBXL so will have a backup incase something happens early on.

I saw this and tried it while using genuine hpi plastic front arms and i notice it makes the plastic part of the steeringing turnbuckels hit the shocks? Did you have this issue?

If I recall correctly it did do something similar when stock. I just checked how it is now. With wider arms and symsteer it butts up on the lower arm before it gets close to the shock.

Last bash was more successful. Still ended up broke but it lasted longer and the servo held up this time. The gearing helped with the pep, while the wide arms and sym steer made it handle more pleasingly. Still managed to flip it and broke the cheap metal rear shock tower.

So I got to work through it and change some stuff, snap 'n' upgrade The Taylor tower went on


Brakes were feeling a little weak so went with the one piece Turtle Racing set up to see if it changes anything


Then beefed up the front end a little with the GTB Bumper bar


And in an effort to keep the front wheels in contact with the ground for a few split seconds longer, I went with the steel chassis protector rather than alloy


Finished off by switching out the stock intake setup for the Taylor angled intake, velocity stack and a new and freshly oiled Ramair filter

The Taylor stuff is very nice and the gearing and extra track help loads.

And thats the last you'll see of that engine....

Picked up a G320 and a few chassis upgrades

So I had one run with the stock g320. It was great, much better than the stock engine, but I'm greedy

Fujiwara top end along with a Taylor pipe


Also threw on the purple alloy rear shock supports to stop the excess flex the plastic parts had.

It's going very nicely now. It does need a slight bit of fine tuning as it has what I'd describe as a cackle in the top end, but honestly I just want time on the engine, get it nice and loose and then do a final tune

I haven't hardly been able to get out with any of mine all summer. I still haven't put a new engine in my baja either after flopping it and cracking the head.
