I think its dead. The market is moving small super cheap models right now. Amain just had their best sellers this year and unless it was on a fire sale larger scale stuff just didn't sell. Not a single traxxas made it and the only arrmas were ones discontinued and clearanced

Looks like i got into this hobby just in time... I just hope the parts/Upgrades/ Accessories don't try up.

It is so disappointing! Nobody makes a 1/5 builders kit any more except for the HPI Baja. I really wanted to build a Kraken TT, but they discontinued all kits right when I could finally pull the trigger.

That really sux....As far as i am concerned Cheap small isn't in my Vocab.

I prefer large scale in general but I love my micro b and traxxas fiesta rally.

I like a good variety. With 1/5 scale I started with a Vekta.5 gad kit and then picked up a HPI Baja 5b kit. I built a Vesla, but that design had too many flaws for me, so I sold it. I bought a Losi 5t and modded it quite a bit. The Vekta.5 has a much more unique driving experience, so it really puts a smile on my face. I actually sold the 5T because it just didn't do anything for me personally. I did have fun modding it though. I have a hard time with RTR. I feel much more invested when I get to build an RC from a kit.
