F1 Competition 08/ Zenoah 26ccm with
hydr. brake system
Item N°. 10005

F1 Competition 08/ Zenoah 26ccm with mech. Tuning brake
Item N°. 10006

Just like all other FG Competition models is the FG Formula 1 Competition the most successful model of the past years. The experiences we gained from numerous competitions have all influenced the version 08. An important innovation is the FG gearwheel drive which is extremely smooth-running and cares for more power reserves. Surely FG Modellsport has created a competitive model for the next years with this 08 version which will seamlessly follow up on the past successes.

Equipment of the FG Formula 1 Competition 08 kit:
CNC-cut 8mm alloy chassis with lateral carbon fiber inserts, 26ccm Zenoah engine, inlet silencer, Tuning pipe, viscous locking differential, FG gearwheel drive, ball drive, complete rear and front axle carrier unit with integrated engine quick-fixing device, double alloy wishbone fastenings, lower alloy delta wishbones at front and rear axle, front and rear alloy uprights, ball-bearing servo saver, steering stops, pushrods, 4 oil-pressure shock absorbers with alloy damper pistons, hydr. disk brake or mech. Tuning brakes at front and rear, stabilizer for front and rear axle, 10mm alloy balls, carbon fiber rear spoiler, polycarbonate bodyshell, polyamide front spoiler, receiver box, competition tires with tire inserts.

We deliver the models as a kit including mounting instruction. The body parts are made of clear polycarbonte for your own painting. FG stickers and writings are enclosed.

For the final assembly of the models you need further: radio control system (transmitter, receiver), 2 steering servos (each approx. 15 kg), each 1 throttle/brake servo (approx. 15 kg), batteries and charger

yeah untill i wake up first thing in the morning, nice bit of gear i wouldnt mind one, no where to drive it where i live, theres only 1/10 and 1/8 scale on road racing on my side of the country and even thats a 600 km round trip

I have one and it is quite an amazing piece of machinery. I suffer from the same problem as you though, nowhere to run it. It seems quite a bit heavier than my other 1/5 onroads but out handles them easily.

We usually take them to large parking lots like at churches. Fun to play around but hard to race unless we just drag race which is what my kids like best anyways.

my next car will be a fg eveo 8 bmw to play around in parking lots, but ill have to drive a bit to find one, most shopps are goiung 7 days a week now

with off roads i chew some many parts, thinkgs waer out quick in the sand and dirt, and the odd engines gets sanded, carbs wear out realy quick, i think on roads if you didnt do to many head ons things would last alot longer

i think the formula 1 cars are so awesome looking. I wish they were a little cheaper and more common around here. Especially parts.

any government parking lot is closed on the weekends, or industrial area. that's where we go. you bet less wear, except tires. I have only ripped a steering rod out of a plastic end and chewed a layshaft gear with my semi. No clean up other than the air compressor (or last clean was the leaky dif and grease spraying out). take the leaf blower to the lot for 10 mins before running and good to go. the lots even like that we clean up before starting.

I bring garden hoses/ air hoses to mark out the track and a little sidewalk chalk. this weekend I am going to tear up the pavement with the guys.

The on road sounds great Pipe, but don't you find it a little boring? I'm after a tourer myself but I don't think I could do the flat stuff all the time.Have you ever owned an off-roader? (that was probably a silly question)
J.

LOL. I have both right now. always been an offroader first. but you get a few of these things on a track with turns and chicanes and it's a challenge. the lots themselves have terrain. drains and manhole covers provide an interesting result. gear them down for a smaller area and use less fuel. as long as the racing is close for all it's fun. that and I clean cars for a living. so cleaning the rc is losing it's appeal. I still do offroad (going this weekend to run both). I was the local rc pro rep last year. been fading out of racing off road the last couple years and just help out. The on road nitro guys are a bit too competitive for me, I play with rc to relax and have fun. our group of 5th scalers are now doing both on and off road and a relaxed group. we are small but all friends. we don't keep track of laps... it's all about running close and making the pass or pressure until a mistake is made.... and 2wd on roads are easy to make that mistake with hehe. I've t boned and been t boned.... and well, the semi is just the most unique rc I have ever owned... motorcycles are another for me and we run in the same area as the 5ths, sometimes at the same time (try outrunning a bunch of big rc's with an electric bike LOL it's real fear)

f1 racing here any scale never took off. I had the tamiya f201. I think we had 4 of us at carpet racing ran them. love open wheel racing, I always race 8th buggy (f1 of off road) and some day I will have an fg f1 in my garage even just to take out and play with because they look so cool

I will admit that I bought my F1 Comp mostly for it to be a shelf queen, we have 3 other onroads and 2 off roads that we run and generally we prefer the on roads. My kids love to slide around and drag race, plus theres less breakage and cleanup with the onroads for us.
