I run Maxima Castor 927.

just mix between 25:1 and 40:1 (i run 32:1) regardless of which oil your using, set a good tune and enjoy.

just mix between 25:1 and 40:1 (i run 32:1) regardless of which oil your using, set a good tune and enjoy.

i am glad to hear some advice on gas/oil mix.. im willing to experiment however its always nice to have a starting point. how much better or worse is 32/1 ratio? more proformance? how about less oil and more wear and tear on piston and cylinder?

i get mine from a local motorbike shop, he has to order it in ,because allmost all road bikes and scooters use premix 2stroke which aint the same,

Thats interesting.......ive been using 2 stroke oil designed for chainsaw's and stihl saw's as these are very high rev'ing i figured it should be fine :helpsmilie:

I stick to 25:1 with the Amsoil Saber Pro 100:1 oil. The best Amsoil product recommended for our motors.

A chain saw will not reach the RPMs ours do. The one good thing is Stihl oil is a good oil. I would still swap out to a fully synthetic product. You may need to clean out the motor 1st for the synthetic to refill the head pores.

which ratio 25:1 or 32:1?

Ok since we on topic of synth oil i'm using yamaha sythn 32:1. now i just got a oneil bros 27.2 race bore kit & crank after i change everything out which ratio should i run 32:1 what i'm running now or go to 25:1?

either should be fine. im running 32:1 with Maxima Castor 927. just got about 1/2 tank thru the new Yamafied TS/ESP 30.5.
