Playing in the snow tomorrow!!

Went out with the FG again today but no traction at all :no: so took the dog for a walk. Pics of snow outside our house (cant tell from pic angle but thats about 12" of snow on top of Zafira!) & a few of the local roads & the last 1 is our pond! Its under there somewhere! Fountain is still running so fish will be ok

Me and our 7yr old jumped in that drift & it came up to his chest He loved it! Dog wasnt keen cos his little legs were no use in that depth had to carry him out!

Ya, looks like our area right now. Beautiful area you got there. What fish do you have in the pond? If things get worse here I will know where to get a meal. :laugh:

There are 6 goldfish hiding in there somewhere! Its only a small pond but kids enjoy it in the spring with the frog spawn & then all the frogs sit around it in the summertime. The heron ate the last lot of fish so I read up & it recommended putting a fence all the way around cos they land on hard ground & walk up to the water. Seems to have worked up to now!

I have friends that do the same thing on there ponds with the net and swear by using the net most of the year. Dang food chain. :laugh:
