just wish I knew of a decent bash spot in leicestershire, I keep moving between spots so that nobody complains. I'l all too aware that one miserable fecker complaining can ruin it for everyone.
 
Guy's,,, We all own, BIG BOYS TOYS,,, an there is no law in this country (England) saying u cant play with toys outside......unless we r pissing people off, then they have to complain..then it becomes a public order offence...but they still can't do a lot about it.......

there starting to treat large scale more like motox bikes here in liverpool ,as the officer told us yesterday you can,t run them anywere apart from private land, if yea flout there law what will be next ?? a few months ago they had a big purge on minimotos and motox bikes being used in in parkland and streets, they put a huge car crusher on display and if you got caught yea bike went straight in it.
 
am goin on a mission 2moro, on trains/buses to find a good bash spot.

my uncle lives in ashton in wigan and he said the is a few good spots....... I'll keep you posted.
 
pete mate my dad spoke to his copper mate and was told that the laws have changed regardin nitro and petrol rc cars, he's guna get the info for me but he said at the moment if there isn't any visible signs up statin no rc cars then he can't move us on or take the cars off us like they can with mini moto's and crosser's, he also said if there has been a number of noise polution complants then sorry guys they can move us on!!!!!

he also said that most police officers or toy "brew boy" coppers arn't that bothered with rc cars it's just the mini moto's and crosses they want removed, but you will always get one little hitler that thinks he's the "don" and knows everythin :clown::clown:

like i said though the laws have changed or changin so i think there will be signs up soon in most public parks and council owned waste land statin no engine powered rc cars :nono::nono::nono::nono::nono:
 
my mates got moved on in townley park in burnley before christmas but he was ok with them & directed them to a quieter spot out of the way. he was a park warden tho & not a CSO on a power trip. Ive been on google earth looking for other bash spots. Its quite useful for that :cool2:

I don't think that R/C cars can come in catagory as Mini motos or crossers....we r not sat on them...R/C cars are toys!!!!!....we don't need M.O.T or tax an insureance do we!!!!!!! so they CAN'T crush em....we can only be moved on it there is signs or IF PEOPLE COMPLAIN, How many times do u see signs saying (no ball games) with people Kicking balls at em.we may need i liecence (permit)in the future, but even so,How many people fish without liecence's.It is Bullshit ,,if they say turn it off then do so..an just go back later.......

i never said our cars are in the same catagory as the mini moto's or crosses i was statin what the police inspector told me today and he mentioned mini moto's and crosses! if the law comes in where they say no engine powered rc car then this will fall into the same catagory where they will have the power to take the cars off us, i've got the same opinion as you mate it's bullshit but laws are laws if you want to brake them then fine that is your choice and your buggy but i said i would get the information from my dads friend for us to read and i have!!!!! hopefully tomora the guy will get the bylaw form to my dad so i can post it on here for us :cool2:

Wow , thanks for all the input guys, Can't believe how popular this thread is already !!

Firstly , I think one of our problems is that the reason we got moved on yesterday was that SOMEBODY complained about us. So as a result of this complaint the CSO's have to respond and this becomes more important than whether a Baja is a toy or a vehicle. If someone has complained then they can move us on... (public order offences etc)

I don't think there are any by-laws that specifically relate to our Buggys, (and there are certainly NO signs up),so if there hadn't have been any complaint we may have been able to talk our way out of it as the by-laws don't apply....but..... there was a complaint !

Big thanks to Charlieboy for looking into the legal side of things.... very good of you mate. Will be interesting to see what the latest letter of the law is on this.

i don't think it matters what the law says when youve got these little power monkeys out there they make there own laws when it suits them i mean we have had the plastic coppers called out on us they don't care the ones we had were more interesed in or cars he even said hes going to look on ebay for one when he got home as for people complaning that will never stop there just pissed off they cant aford one of there own as for the power monkeys there just sad little people that are bitter about not being marines or trafic wardens or just have little person syndrome

yea think they were bullied at school and our getting there own back now:clown::clown:officer 711 told me they get there uniforms as hand me downs off the real police, sad
 
haha her rearly thought he was good lieing to are face saving its was not me officer 711 that said it was ok for you to comme here i nevr said it and then he said to pete you carnt controle it if it gos of and pete said ye i can iv got a kill switch that shut him up :)
 
its a shame as its going to end up where we will need public liability insurance and permision from the land owner soon and that will ruin it for many if not all i cant afford that i wont be able to buy upgrades bummer
