K, .... a serious question!!
There's been much discussion on this Forum recently regarding battery problems, considering the fairly substantial investment in the beast, do you not think it wise to permit easy removal for charging, ... in case of .... ??? :scared::scared::scared:
Al.

as i don't like wires showing :laugh:i had to cut away the radio plate for the steering servo

i angled the cut on the underside so as not to cut the slot to big

have just about finished the radio plate:cup-2:

needed a bit of jiggling around and:w00t: spacers making

but came out pretty good in the end

the servos are held in with 3mm stainless steel SHCS

the ripmax alloy arms on the futaba servos are part numbers............

P-SOA01M3FT.......single arm with a 3mm thread

P-SOA05M2FT.......double arm with a 2mm thread

well i had to strip down me radio tray as when i came to put it on found

that the battery was to close to the steering servo arm:cursing:

so what can i do ................here was the simple fix as the battery needed to

move back 10mm from the servo arm

i made 2 off set alloy posts:laugh:this then lets the battery slip between the

battery posts with 1mm clearance either side of the battery

Jealous? OF COURSE!!
Keep up the great work and get it finished before the next snowfall!!
