i wanted to introduce a little more red into the build so got the clutch

housing back from powder coating yesterday

decided to fit it together to the engine using standard 26cc cy

with new style zenoah engine head :w00t:cover....

and a standard zenoah clutch...standard air filter with billet alloy end cap

standard gearing with steel gears ....FG alloy engine mounts

i remade the connecting pieces from the clutch housing to the large

engine mount as the standard ones are a little flimsy:eek:hmy:

well today in between sun bathing:laugh:i fitted the engine to the chassis

made one piece stainless steel spacers for the gearing....and used

green anti vibe loctite for the grub screws

i had to make an alloy spacer for the top engine bracket see pic

i also made new engine fixing washers ....we all know how:2guns: crap

the standard ones are .....

these are alloy and around 23mm dia X 4mm thick chamfered with

a 4mm counter sunk hole ...using 4mmX20mm long stainless screws

ANY ONE WANTING A SET OF THESE WITH SCREWS PM ME

WILL COST £12 A SET POSTED IN UK...WILL POST ABROAD AT COST

Looking good Trebor, I used an onroad engine mount on mine in the end as it keeped snaping the screw with the spacer in....

Also mate I used to have my wheely bars fitted that way up as I thought it was the right way round untill someone told me they should be the other way up, I think its up to you what ever you think looks best.

yeah i know about the wheely bar ...i saw yours

the spacer will be fine at 10mph ...LOL

wouldnt mind some of that lot then io could build me a new one
lol waiting till after this month then looking for something other to use with my baja one or wo folk up here have some interst in these now having seen me out giving it a work out so could be a good chance to get a smal group togther and really get into this now

hare and hounds at rammy......and then moved to squires gate for 4 years

till it closed down.........:eek:mg:i now work a 2 days at asda

friday and sunday.....then the rest of the week i do as i please:w00t:

its just on hold at the moment:p as i have to revamp the radio tray as

the hydraulics run oposite to my magura's:mad:

the steel gears the guy i got them off was on ebay but no longer doing them

as mine fasten with grub screws......there is a guy herbies selling them

on ebay but he has a different fixing for them £40 a set;)

also waiting on bits from DDM and Hobbythek and ross mods for me hpi baja ss thats in bits as well
