No not at all, its like asking if something was done, not to what extent. Did I port an engine? Yes, but don't give up your numbers on port timing. Simple as that. I'm not expecting him to say, yeah pop pressure is set to x seat pressure should be y, and we over bored the carb by Z. More of a yeah we did adjust the pop and reset pressures, bored the carb and tweaked flow through the carb. Simple questions, require simple answers. Nothing more. I'm not asking anything (imo) that someone buying something modified shouldn't ask. Especially when it comes time to kit the thing, if they are using their own springs, or tweaked metering levers then you would want to reuse those parts and not what came with the kit.
