I'm getting ready to install my D845. I read somewhere that this thing needs some spacers to fit in the stock tray. After mocking it up, it's gonna need more than I thought it would. Anyone know if servo clamps would work? I'm thinking 1 pair on top as they normally would be & another pair under the mounting tabs. I checked DDM & large scale rc, neither have a thickness listed for any option. Could someone measure for me? Or should I just use an entire bin of washers & buy a proper tray for my next upgrade?

I didn't feel like buying a sheet of plexiglass only to use 1 square inch of it. Then I realized this servo came with extra horns. Cut those up & made my own brackets. Saves me from buying 9601757e44e0d329133ea737fcdf8937.jpgthe $20 aluminum ones for now, cause I knew that would turn into $100 order. Right now, it's 2 or 3mm off the chassis & the top braces should have enough material overhang to prevent major flexing. Overall, I'm happy with it considering it only took about an hour. 20200219_183120.jpg20200219_212612.jpg
