Hi all, been a while since I last run my baja. It has a 2.4Ghz system fitted, came to switch it all on earlier, which it did fine, the usual bleeps and flashing lights momentarily, but the receiver and transmitter don't seem to "talk" to each other??? When I opened up the receiver box inside there is a little red light which illuminates twice every second or so, which I rememeber seems normal for it. I fitted a KillerBee some time ago which winks green quite quickly, as it always has done. If I press in the "set" button on the receiver, its red LED flashes quicker, as if it's to mate with a transmitter, like it's searching for one.... Even though the transmitter is on, they're not talking to each other :(

I haven't changed any wiring or nothing, the only addition was the KillerBee which was connected to the Aux port on the receiver. And it's always worked fine in that setup..

Any clues anyone as to how to reset the system??

Thanks in advance! :o

Glad it's working.
What make of Tx/Rx have you got?

Al.

haven't got a clue to be honest, it came with the car. it's always been a reliable set of electronics. as for the make, there's nothing on the trans'.. i left it on for around an hour and suddenly things burst into life. it's ok now, switched it on n off a few times and all seems happy. and the red LED on the receiver went to a solid state, no more flashes...was wonderin if the killerbee had anything to do with it. anyhow, im glad now :D give it a run tomoz before the rugby starts on tv!

Know what I'm thinking - and not the Rugby for now .... ?
IF, ..... there's a doubt in the electronics, PLEASE CHECK IT OUT CAREFULLY.

These things are very heavy and very fast - they can cause a lot of damage to people, other things, personal pride, and your wallet.

If you've the slightest doubt, please consider replacing the Tx/Rx and avoiding this.

Hope it's an easy fix and you don't have to.

Al.
