I posted a new thread here as well, but just to bring this one up again...if I need to rebuild the engine is the 28.5cc big bore kit the best way to do it? Correct me if I'm wrong, but that kit reuses the stock crankshaft and the 27.2 kit requires a new crank. With the price of the crank included the 27.2 kit is actually a little more expensive. I just want to get this thing running and if a rebuild is necessary I'd like to do it as cheaply as possible. Current engine is the G260.

Also, if I decided to buy a whole new engine the G270 is the best direct replacement alternative? The prices on davesmotors.com seem very reasonable, but are there any other cheaper places to buy them from? And is that a reputable website to order from?
