Where did you get this body? Please bash this body with a few cartwheels, tumbles, and attempt to do the backflip. Please take and post a video of the bashing. Then post pics of the body. Then and only then I will become a believer. For now I will stick with my TT's Only/RCP widebodies.

Im not stating that the 2mm sc body is better stronger than a TT body, im just saying its a big improvement compared to the weak hpi 5sc body, also we all don't have 180 + paint + postage to spend on a TT, $90us for a 2mm sc body, is pretty good value i think ! :D

Will keep you posted on how it holds up

So where did you get that body from? I have an orginal HPI 5SC body that is a bit torn up, that I am currently trying to straighten out and prep to make a fiberglass mold. But I figure with a new body for cheap, that is less prep work on my part.

Now arent you stealing money from HPI by buying a CLONE body? haven't you been bitching at the people on the KM site for using cloned parts?

Now grab your left foot firmly with both hands.
Yank it from your mouth.

LOL!!! Guess you didn't see the Baja Bug body before this one. Clearly it was not made by Proline. Apperantly it's all good, it's not copied and sold by Integy...

Well these bodies are a great plug for making fiberglass molds when new. It sucks when they do crack, yes they do shatter. Best to make the molds right away, then pop off a few bodies to have as spares.

Weel I bought a few hundred quids worth of fibre glassing kit to reproduce FG shells but couldnt make them for toffee!:( There is a definite art to glassing and whoever can do this can make themselves a pretty penny in the RC world.

The 5sc body i have aint made by KM or rovan
And you know this for a fact how? Have you been to Zhejiang, China and seen where your body was made? I know it comes from there because I looked it up.I do not know if KM makes them and sells them to Rovan or if Rovan makes them and sells them to KM or if Taiwan Timmy makes them and sells to KM & Rovan. But thats where your shell came from, so stop flaming the clones cause guess what??? YOUR BODY IS A CLONE!!!!!

P.S. Where did you get it? You have been asked 3 times now and wont tell, seems funny, or are you hiding your shame???

Yes, it is an art. Luckily for me, I know a few people who have been building boats for years, so they know a few tricks of the trade. Plus having a sportbike with fiberglass track day fairings, crashing is not expensive when one does the repairs themselves. The bodies I have popped so far are not the greatest, that is what I get when I use used bodies to make the mold. Plus it is a great way to teach my son on how to work with fiberglass and most of all how to paint. I'm not in it to make money as these will not look good after a few tumbles.

Listen bud if your got nothing decent to say in my thread pls do not post and to answer your question yes i know exactly where and who makes em and let me tell you they are great quality........do you really think i would spend that much time and money painting it if was poor quality ?

I spent 5 minutes searching for this body since no one would reveal the source from China. I found EngageRC sells this body as well. Granted its a bit more than what some special people paid, but with a little more time searching finding the exact company is inevitable. Looks like I found my sacrificial lamb for my fiberglass body project.
