Hello everyone,

I recently (finally) got my 30 Degree North truck running and it's been a joy to take to the park. I have noticed that the flex in the servo tray definitely impacts my braking performance, and I was looking for recommendations on what braces work well without getting in the way of other parts.

I have a Vertigo Performance clutch assembly and the gear-mesh brace installed with it. My primary concern is finding a servo brace that would work without having to remove the gear-mesh brace. So far I've ordered the 30DN servo brace, and I intend to use only one of the mounting arms in order to avoid issues with the Vertigo brace. If that ends up not working, what brands have some fairly good low-profile servo supports?

I use the TLR losi 5ive carbon fiber servo brace, works well and I have it on all of my 5ives. It also doesn't interfere with the vertigo mesh braces.

I got something like that as well in case the metal bracket-style brace doesn't work out, but I haven't had any luck mounting it due to the stock servo screws being too short. What size extended screw works best for adding a brace to the servo?
Update: Looks like the rubber grommets that were on the servo may have been the reason I couldn't get this thing attached. I've removed them and all seems well so far. Not sure if this is the way, but it doesn't feel un-sturdy.
